The World Muaythai Council (WMC) proudly arranged for the national Iranian Muay Thai team to compete against Australia at the International Launch of the YIS Project. The YIS Board acknowledge the support of the Iranian government for the project.
The YIS Board and the WMC believed that the coming togeather of teams from such political and religious diversity would add considerable weight to the international nature of the Project. The WMC will be instrumental in helping establish the YIS Project throughout its 110 member nations.
